Did someone RAK you

unexpectedly?

RAK'd has no hidden agendas or
beliefs/ideas to push, it is simply
people wanting to show random acts of
kindness to others in their city.

We would love to hear how you were

RAK'd and what it means to you.

  • To day I was given a $25 gift certificate to a ice cream shop as a thank you for taking someones pictures. On my way to use my gift certificate to buy some ice cream cupcakes for my babysitters birthday I noticed an officer and two construction workers fixing something on the side of the road. Once I got to the ice cream shop I picked up 2 packages of cupcakes instead of 1. On my way home I stopped and offered my 2nd package to the men working. They were so greatful to have something so sweet and cold on a 100 degree day! It was a great feeling to see complete strangers so happy! :)

  • I bought 6 single flowers (and tied the Rak'd cards to each) from each of 2 florist and handed out to people at Centrelink, Coffee shop and at random down the main street. Just great to see the reaction. I mentioned to a friend in the morning who visited me in my office so she gave me a neck and shoulder massage. So it was passed on. It would be nice if everyone passed it on. I wasn't as prepared this year as I only got an email a few days earlier,

  • Hi, I got rak'd today. My wonderful volunteers brought me in the most beautiful bunch of pink roses today. I feel so very blessed every time I look at them

  • I RAKd Newcastle West with my G180 connect group! We bought chocolates and gave them to unsuspecting people! I loved watching peoples faces when the girls gave them to people and the most common sentence "does it cost?"... the smiles on their faces when they got told "Nope!" :) RAKd was awesome!
